除夕，姑姑上怡保后晚上直接到我们家来吃团圆饭。老妈煮了两种鱼（dory and salmon），两种菜还有一道汤。超丰富的。过后还一面看超离谱的《西游记》一面喝高级咖啡（Starbucks VIA）。那部《西游记》真的很离谱。牛魔王没有牛样（好像是郭富城饰演？？），不知哪来了一只九尾狐（和孙悟空互相喜欢什么？？？），太白金星好像被牛魔王射死，最糟糕的是，牛魔王和孙悟空决战竟然会变transformers？？？？
To be honest, I NEVER liked going to conventions. Book fests, yes, but never conventions. There are people everywhere, cosplayers, artists, nerds, geeks, everybody cramped in a small lane... I just don't like it. And all the cosplayers make me feel uncomfortable and anxious about myself (I wanna take photos and talk to them but I'm too scared. I'm always scared). So I always say no to friends who invite me to conventions. I dislike conventions.
This year, however, I'm going to break my own rules. I started using Insta earlier this year, and reason has forsaken me. ARTISTS EVERYWHERE. I WANT THEIR MERCH. I WANT THEM SO BADLY I'M WILLING TO GO TO COMIC FIESTA FOR THE FIRST TIME DESPITE KNOWING ITS EXISTENCE FOR 8 YEARS. 8 EFFING YEARS.
*ahem* So, now that the introduction's done, let us continue to my first time ever in CF, 2015.
Day 1:
I woke up pretty early to get a head start on the train, but dudes are not with me so I had to wait for them at the station for half an hour. Going with me on the wild-human-sandwich-convention-experience was Yumiko (haha!), Missy Dragon, her sister, Khei, and Khei's aunt and cousin. I had early bird tickets so going in straight away isn't a problem... except that the others didn't, and there's a loooooong queue for the tickets counter. Khei received tickets from a cousin so she went in with me and left the others to wait in line for tickets. I'm such a bad person.
I went around to Meyoco's booth (E4/Honey & Mayo) first, snagged three out of four of her books, one which has sold out. I CRY. She told me to come back on the second day... I also bought Daisuga charms because those are expensive and I only want my OTP!
Next I visited Pottetto, Khadi with Halimah and Tarii's booths, which were all side by side (H40/Pottetto, H41-42/Dirty Paws, H39/Sleeping Lemon) and spent money on stickers and button badges.
I was supposed to move on to the next booth on my list, but then dudes got their tickets so I had to stop adventuring and go with them on a slow expedition. It was crowded and packed and people are sweaty ugh. There were A LOT of Kaneki cosplayers, and there was someone who is a combo of Naruto AND Kaneki I mean what?????
We stopped at Kino booth and looked though expensive books (I saw artbooks about otome games hurhurhur), I spotted oldxian's artbook (which isn't sold in Popular and even Kino), fangirled and bought it, looked around for SQ but found none.
Missy Dragon and her sister got CDs and folders while Khei's cousin... bought CDs also but in a more moderate manner. Then we moved on and stopped by Culture Japan and the Smart Doll showcase, which blew my mind.
I thought Smart Dolls were only as big as Barbies, but I was clearly mistaken. If the Smart Doll were to be measured from my head it would end at my torso. No wonder it costs RM2100.
Finally we moved back to the artbooths. We start off at the last row of booths, and from there on it was HELL. I keep seeing tons of Pokemon and Haikyuu buttons (along with Love Live ones) but I can't possibly buy ALL of them so I could only just look through them and only buy the ones I really like. I don't see a lot of Owls so when I saw them on display at a booth I stopped and bought them. I might as well have all the volleyball ships while I'm here. Then there's this booth. I saw Mieu on the table and picked up the small booklet, flipped through it and my heart leapt. FINALLY A TALES MERCH OMG. I bought it. No doubt crossed my mind, no worrying about money. I asked the price (OMG the booth keeper was cosplaying as ASCH), bought it and put it in my bag.
I recognized Yue's booth (K13/Squarish, with Fei) and my eyes lingered because I saw something that would make me cry: TALES MERCH. I WILL ALWAYS CRY WHEN THERE'S TALES MERCH. I looked at the buttons and stickers like I saw my savior if I had one, choked in my tears, screamed internally and bought them home with me. That was what made my whole day. TALES MERCH.
Soon it was time for lunch (it was already 2 when we left to grab a bite) and every restaurant was full, even the most expensive ones, but we managed to find a place in Texas Chicken. My feet never hurt like that before and when I sat down I was stretching and exercising my toes. We ate, dudes wanna explore more so I said my goodbyes and retreated back to my hostel.
I unpacked, bought dinner and slept in for the day to replenish my energy for tomorrow. I need to queue early for day 2 because of Meyoco's book.
Day 2
I considered myself early, but I didn't think other people would be so eager to queue up as early as 6! Queuing with sweaty and untidily dressed men is not a good experience. Ah, but what can I do? I wanted Meyo's book so badly I had to come early. My bag weighs like my old primary school bag (which is heavy eff) and the heat isn't helping. Finally when I got into the Hall I literally dashed -ran even- to booth E4... only to find it empty. I thought she wasn't here yet, so I browsed around, found some good stuff. I bought more buttons (and the Tales sticker) from Yue, I didn't buy anything from Pottetto on day 1 so I chose a Steven button, bought Haikyuu and cat stickers from Khadi, found a Kingsman illustration book and a cute cat foods book, also bought a dead fandom's prints just so I could take a picture and show it to Missy Dragon...
however whenever I went back to Meyo's booth she's still not there. Finally I gave up and left, feeling awkward as everyone is going to the convention whereas I'm leaving, board the train and reached home safely.
After I finished unpacking I looked through Insta and saw that Meyo had an emergency and cannot make it on day 2... so it just means that book and I are not meant to be????
Comic Fiesta is WILD. But I didn't expect myself to have a heartbreak over not being able to buy a book. I didn't know there was so much to see in CF. Illustration books, button badges, stickers (ohoho I've never loved stickers this much) and charms, there are so many things I would like to buy, I would really like to commission some of my fave artists but I can't because time is short. I've been urging Khei to choose something so that I could buy for her, but she wouldn't let me. I bought this years' friend's appreciation present already, but I could only distribute them in January next year. It's a long wait...

All of them will mostly start during the coming holidays if I do not have any delay activities like sailing the high seas or hunting. Well, I'm starting the week after exams! I'm impatient!
Last week was an eventful week I tell ya, V-Day is on Friday!
I've been busy making cards fer friends the whole week starting on Tuesday with limited resources and postponed naps. Everyday was hectic as I had to run around the store for materials. Worst even, I don't have a color printer at home and I had to visit a shop to get the images printed (poker face). To make things worst, I overlooked someone and had to think of a way to do the card with only scraps left. I managed... somehow. I promised myself to take pictures of the cards to keep as memories, but they weren't taken until midnight, which I scrambled out of my bed and took sloppy and rushed pictures.

The hardest card to make was probably Aeveyn's with such a thin piece of paper and tons of things to stick. Little Sheep's was the most heartbreaking as I changed her card THREE times and finalized with using a very dear piece of paper. The most expensive was Ainina's, adding up the printing services and the paper used, I think it's very well more than a ringgit. The sparkly paper was so hard to glue, I partially gave up. Then I realized that the crumpled pink paper was HARDER. It came off every. Single. Damned. Time.
I hate it when Blogger makes my banner look all dim and stuff. It was actually really bright and colorful! Damn you.
So, it's SPM year again(NOOOOOOOOOOO). I didn't study AT ALL. I think I'm gonna fail my mission of getting at least 5As. Few weeks ago we had a seminar called "ACTION is POWER". The counselor told us to write down our short-term and long-term visions. Of course she expected us to write stuff like 'get xxxxAs for SPM', or maybe 'to work as xxxx' that sort of thing, but I'm always full of surprises. Guess what I wrote?

I stopped writing them for months! I browsed through my older works and found some really embarrassing ones. The grammar sucks so much, I could cry. Not just fanfics though. Even my own stories suck so much I started laughing at the writing styles. Then I came across two poems I wrote for dA way back. THE FEELS.

Good news to myself, I've bought Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag! Yay! *squeals* I looked into Bioshock Infinite, but I suck at FPS so I gave it up. While browsing that one Ac game caught my eye: Assassin's Creed Heritage Collection. HERITAGE COLLECTION?! SERIOUSLY?! Bought it straight away, no questions asked. Got back home, had a good look and unwrapped...
Damn. The inside was gorgeous! It had the original AC and ACII downloads! *squeals* NOW I GET TO SEE YOUNG SASS EZIO. *FANGIRLING INTESIFIES* I also bought The Last of Us and I cried when Sarah died(oh, baby girl!).
And also I've been busy editing stuff from my scans(yeah). The banner and profile pic are only two examples. There are more custom cursors to do and I haven't finished the Free! series. *sigh*

Bought past year questions yesterday, and is totally pissed off, tis gurl.
I finally found the latest Shounen Onmyouji! It's the 33rd book of the series! *cries* It's been such a long time since I last saw my most loved concubine! Then it struck! I missed two books! I've hardly seen any new books and this! I got a feeling Popular Bookstore's gonna stop selling the series somehow... and Cite doesn't sell them... what do I do... Pop says he'd allow me to order it from Taiwan but still, it pains me to see my long-time flame go out. I've been with them since I was 9. I could only wish myself good luck on finding my two 'lost concubines'.
Speaking of 'book concubines', I finally have the time to wrap up Assassin's Creed Brotherhood after all the Chemistry test ruckus last week.
They printed the author's name in RED (sideways), which to us, is an unlucky thing to do. Nevermind anyways...
So... does anyone here recognize this picture? Since we're having our year-end exams right now, the seating arranged is quite similar to this one... and Nezumi was last in the class register, so she sat by the window in the RIGHT. SHE WAS quite THE MAIN CHARACTER OMG. I was in the 'transfer student' seating, but acknowledged myself as 'that one person who has a crush on the main chara'. 'Childhood friend' (Ern) is in the next class, 'mysterious youth' (H.Han) has changed seating in front of main chara and is now known as 'the lively classmate who wears his/her uniform untidily'. She actually wore her blouse inside out to school after we started this (I mean like, is that a coincidence?). 'Class representative' (Leena) sits in the 'bitches and whores' area, but meh~ she IS the class monitor after all. Khei was 'the cat who wanders around in school grounds'. My fellow primary school classmates, if you somehow found me, do you remember this? Well, if you don't and then remembered this to be funny four years ago, then I'll tell you - this is a form of bullying.
"How?" you ask. Bullying doesn't mean it has to be physical, you can hurt someone mentally too. In this case, it is. I've only rewatched it recently, and different from four years ago, I find this a lot more than disturbing. I've laughed at this for God knows how many times when I was 12, but yesterday, I can laugh no more. Since entering secondary school, I've known a lot of bullying cases from teachers, 'informants' and gossipish parents. How can I not realize that the act of sitting and laughing my ass off while watching someone get bullied through words was also considered a brutal act?
I faced the music of my parents after they found out I've been watching the video. I vaguely remember what they shouted at me, but I know it's nothing to be proud of. It took me four years to realize my mistake. And to those who are reading, I hope you realize yours too.

The empress was not a a quick person, considering her body weight like Queen Brahne Raza Alexandros XVI. Slowly... slowy to the mic, she recieved support from the stand. Started buffering... loading... and finally remembered what she want to say.
The opening speech was a declaration of war - at least to most of us. The front lines were weak and not worth our attention, until the empress sent words of mockery out her fat lips.
"I have to say, that the youngsters are getting a little restless about gossip. I know that you all are pointing your fingers at my back. Let me tell you this: you can never turn your back against me! I am your emperess! You are not to tell anything to the outer circle... this is the LAW! You all should bow down and beg for forgiveness after this..."
Vayne's speech was not all amusing, but her majesty's was just plain rubbish ...and I think I can hear her go 'kekekekekekeke'.
Everyone has calmed the rage in their hearts and save energy to generate lightning, but she just had to come up and talk about those unpleasant things.
Damn... haters gotta hate.

The empress is up to her dirty tricks again... sigh~
Before the HaXnah occupation in late XX12, NoXma was a lowly member of the council assisting the late empress in the kingdom's matters. After the rise of the new empress and election of the council members, NoXma took initiative to execute her plans. She was a close friend of the new empress, HaXnah, thus all of her 'proposals' were approved without further consideration.
Starting early XX13, her new ways did not please the residents. The traditions and cultures preserved for decades were all ignored by HaXnah and NoXma. Some of the elders tried to confront NoXma about this matter, but were all brushed off. To shut the elders up, she threatened to exile anyone who gets in her way. The residents never refered HaXnah as their leader. Instead, they decided to call the following years of her reign as the 'HaXnah Occupation'.

The short article is the exaggerated version of what's happening in my school these days. The new headmistress and one of her new assistants are making us miserable. The new assistant (NoXma) changed a lot of the school's old ways and made some of the teachers unhappy. Well, not just the teachers... us students too.
She introduced the a new system that had us playing Hunger Games early in the morning, and restricted the amount of students that can enter a specific club. Most of the other clubs had an average of 90 places, but the BC and BT clubs had less than 30 places! Minus the committee members, we have only about 15 members. That's just very sad, you know. When the Hunger Games was still in play, our stall was full of people! But in the end, we didn't get to have as mush members. We're all worried about our successors to the BC club. Without the third years, we don't have any successors.
She had have angered two clubs, and still wants to make it worse. She ordered the teachers to re-elect the committee members of another two clubs, which are St. John Ambulance and the Red Crescent. Good job, you've angered FOUR clubs in one go!
If she were a bit least sober and smart, NoXma wouldn't have tried to challenge St. John and RC. Unlike us, they have their high-ranked officers for support, with titles of sires and dato'. Amusingly, she didn't make a move on the Girl Scouts. We don't know the real reason behind her actions, but all Sin Yee could think of was: "She can't possibly try to trigger the queen's wrath. She can't afford that." The 'queen' was part of the Girl Scouts. Lucky them. It was a close call.
A war will break out maybe the following week, and "the final boss will be waiting in the headmistress' office". Too much RPG? I should make this into a story...
Why is it that in school, teachers are never wrong?
Why is it that in school, students bear the shame?
Why is it that in school, everything isn't fair?
A war looms in the horizon... it's a one way ticket to death, defeat or victory.
